Nasa’s New Horizon photographed Pluto a few years back which ignited a new curiosity for the planet in a lot of us. This in turn also made many people interested in Charon – Pluto’s satellite.
Charon is one of the five largest known satellites of Pluto and has one-eighth the mass of Pluto. The moons surface seems to be dominated by water ice and has an orbit of approx six days.
